INFANTS

Peace of mind for you. Endless possibilities for them.

Infants

Our Program

Our infant classrooms are designed to accommodate infants from 6 weeks to 18 months old. The designated adult/child ratio in New York for infants is 1:4. In order to maintain consistency for your child, parents are asked to provide information on their child's specific daily routine. Our caregivers will use this information to customize a personal schedule that will incorporate your child's needs and planned activities from our standard based curriculum.

The younger infant classroom is themed around the story Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? It is home to our Cuddly Cubs! The older infant classroom is themed around Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, and they are our Yellow Ducklings.

Needed Items

At Robin's Nest Childcare, we feel that it is very important for your child to experience the comforts of home while they spend the day with us. We provide all diapers, wipes, formula and infant food. Our center cook makes our infant food fresh every day on site.

We do ask that the parents provide certain items from home:

  1. Clean bottles should be brought in every day.
  2. Diaper cream
  3. Extra clothes (at least two full outfits)

Curriculum and Assessments

Our assessments start in the infant room with your little one. Our teachers observe and track milestones, while planning developmentally appropriate activities that provide opportunities for our students to progress.
